Endsleigh Holy Child Voluntary Catholic Academy is part of the St Cuthbert's Roman Catholic Academy Trust and within the Diocese of Middlesbrough.

As a Voluntary Catholic Academy, our Trust is responsible for admissions. It is guided in that responsibility by the requirements of the law, by advice from the Diocesan Trustees and its duty to the Catholic community and the Common Good.

The school provides a Catholic education for children in the heart of Hull, with priority being given to baptised Roman Catholic children living in the Hull parishes of St Anthony's & the Our Lady of Lourdes and St Peter Chanel.

The school is of average size, with 333 pupils currently on roll. The children are between the ages of 3 and 11 years old and are taught in single class year groups from Nursery to Year 6. The planned admission number (PAN) is 40

Our School Nursery

We have place in our school nursery unit for 3 and 4 year olds.

Our school nursery is a warm, welcoming place where children truly thrive and grow. As a Catholic nursery, our values guide everything we do. We believe that every child is a precious gift and encourage them to be the best they can be. We nurture each child’s curiosity, confidence, and independence through meaningful play and rich learning experiences.

Our highly qualified and experienced staff create a secure and encouraging environment in which children feel safe to explore, experiment, and express themselves. They take time to get to know each child as an individual, supporting emotional wellbeing as well as early learning.

Children are nurtured and supported in their learning and play every day. Our curriculum is broad and engaging, offering exciting opportunities across early literacy, numeracy, science, expressive arts, music, and outdoor learning. Activities are carefully planned around children’s interests, with a strong emphasis on hands-on experiences that spark imagination and develop essential skills. Outdoors, children have space to run, climb, play and grow in confidence and resilience.

We work in close partnership with families, recognising that parents and carers are a child’s first educators. Together, we celebrate progress and milestones, ensuring every child feels valued, respected, and proud of their achievements.

Our nursery provides a joyful foundation for learning—one where children develop friendships, discover their God-given talents, and build a lifelong love of learning.

Contact the school office to enquire about a place in our nursery for your child.
